Miranda North Community Church is committed to living out the relationship we have with God thanks to the death and resurrection of His Son Jesus. We do this in dependence on His Spirit.

Historically, Miranda North Community Church is a ministry of St Luke’s Anglican Church, Miranda. We stand in a “Reformed Evangelical tradition”; believing that salvation only comes to people from God, through his Son Jesus Christ, as an act of his grace alone, which we experience through faith in Him. This salvation we share makes us members of God’s family and brings us into community with each other.

To bring the knowledge and love of God to the people of the Miranda North Community, by speaking to them the Good News about Jesus, and by together living out its effects in our lives.

• Teach the Bible as God’s word, respond to God in prayer and express the fellowship we share with each other through Jesus.
• Meet weekly in an open public gathering, and regularly in other informal occasions, where we will encourage and pray for each other
• Provide pastoral care and support for the members of Miranda North Community church, and also for people in the local community.
• Express our Christian love for our neighbours through relieving the physical needs of others and through the spread of the gospel to all. We will speak this gospel to others as we believe it meets their deepest need.
• Intentionally train and encourage members to use the gifts and abilities God has given them, helping them recognise opportunities for service in both our church and the wider Christian community.
• Take our part in the world wide mission of God, supporting Christian mission outside of our local context.
• Financially support these ministries, recognising that all our resources ultimately find their source in God.
• Work in partnership and unity with other Christians, seeking together God’s glory and the extension of his kingdom.
